AeroAccess Send Money Feature Sunsetting June 24, 2022

Effective June 24, 2022, Aerospace Federal Credit Union will be removing the Send Money feature from the AeroAccess Mobile Banking application. The vendor that provides this service for the credit union is sunsetting the product effective July 1, 2022.  Members can continue to use Send Money to transmit person-to-person payments until the feature is removed from AeroAccess on June 24, 2022.  Any outstanding payments that have not been retrieved by the receiving party will be returned to the sender’s account on June 30, 2022.

A review of member usage of the Send Money feature indicates that very few members are currently utilizing the existing Send Money feature. As a result, Aerospace Federal Credit Union is currently working with our home banking partners to implement the Zelle person-to-person service for credit union members. Zelle is one of the largest person-to-person payment solutions available in the marketplace today; it is likely that many members have used this service in the past few years as it has gained popularity in the industry. We anticipate that Zelle will be available for use by Aerospace Federal Credit Union members in the 4th Quarter of 2022.

If you have any questions related to the termination of the Send Money feature, please contact the Member Services Department at 310-336-5030 or via email at mbrsrvcs@aerofcu.org. Thank you for your membership and continued support of the credit union!

Thank you,

Aerospace Federal Credit Union
