Position Overview

Aerospace Federal Credit Union (AFCU) is seeking a dynamic and relationship‑driven Business Development Specialist to support member growth, deepen community partnerships, and enhance brand visibility. This role blends marketing execution, outreach, event coordination, and business development to help expand AFCU’s presence in the South Bay and surrounding communities.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Community Engagement
  • Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, community organizations, schools, and employer groups.
  • Represent AFCU at community events, SEG visits, and outreach activities.
  • Identify new partnership opportunities to expand membership and promote credit union products and services.
  • Coordinate on‑site membership drives, presentations, and financial education workshops.

Marketing Support & Campaign Execution

  • Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns across digital, print, and in‑branch channels.
  • Support content creation for social media, newsletters, email marketing, and promotional materials.
  • Track campaign performance and provide insights to improve engagement and ROI.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all outreach and marketing activities.

Event Planning & Promotion

  • Organize and staff community events, sponsorships, and promotional activities.
  • Manage event logistics, materials, and follow‑up communications.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful event execution and lead generation.

Member Experience & Product Knowledge

  • Promote credit union products and services with a strong understanding of member needs.
  • Support cross‑selling efforts by educating prospective members on benefits and features.
  • Provide feedback to leadership on member trends, community needs, and competitive insights.

Qualifications

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field OR
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing, business development, community outreach, or financial services.
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and represent the credit union professionally.
  • Experience with social media, digital marketing, or content creation.
  • Comfortable working independently and in the community.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events and deadlines.
  • Credit union or financial services experience is a plus.
  • Bilingual skills (Spanish) are a plus but not required.

Salary 

Salary Range: $65,000 – $90,000 annually, depending on experience.
This range reflects competitive compensation for a mid‑sized credit union in the El Segundo market.

Position Overview

The Compliance Officer will manage and support the credit union’s compliance management system, ensuring adherence to federal and state regulations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a hands‑on, collaborative environment and wants to make a meaningful impact within a mid‑sized credit union.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Conduct daily BSA/AML and OFAC monitoring and reporting.
  • Review and update internal policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate internal and external compliance audits.
  • Manage subpoenas and legal information requests.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and guide implementation.
  • Collaborate with departments to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
  • Conduct and oversee compliance training for staff and volunteers.
  • Prepare and maintain compliance documentation and reporting.
  • Investigate compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support monthly Supervisory Committee meetings and provide reporting to management and the Board.
  • Provide backup support to management and department staff.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Foundational understanding of financial‑services compliance; credit union experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Prior compliance or regulatory experience is a plus.

Salary 

Salary Range: $110,000 – $145,000 annually, depending on experience.

Position Overview

Aerospace Federal Credit Union is seeking a data‑driven, creative, and collaborative Marketing Analyst to support strategic growth initiatives and deepen member engagement. This role blends analytical rigor with hands‑on marketing execution, offering the opportunity to influence product strategy, campaign performance, and member experience across the organization.


Key Responsibilities

Market & Member Insights
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and member behavior to identify opportunities for product development and marketing optimization.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to evaluate financial products, delivery channels, and member preferences.
  • Produce dashboards, reports, and presentations that translate data into actionable insights for leadership.

Data Management & Reporting

  • Administer and enhance the marketing department’s analytical databases.
  • Serve as the primary resource for MCIF data requests, including running queries, generating mailing lists, and measuring campaign results.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to define data requirements and improve analytical capabilities.

Campaign Strategy & Execution

  • Support the design, deployment, and analysis of internal and external surveys.
  • Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns aimed at increasing member participation and attracting new members.
  • Evaluate campaign ROI and provide recommendations for optimization.

Digital Analytics & Content

  • Analyze website and digital engagement metrics using Google Analytics and related tools.
  • Contribute to content creation, including copywriting for blogs, newsletters, email marketing, and social media.

General Marketing Support

  • Provide cross‑functional support for marketing initiatives, with time split approximately 50/50 between analytics and general marketing activities.

Qualifications

Education & Experience (choose one path)

Option A — Education Track

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Economics, Data Science, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in marketing analytics, data analysis, or market research.

Option B — Experience Track

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in marketing analytics, data analysis, or related roles in lieu of a degree.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency with Tableau or similar data visualization tools.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Access.
  • Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.), including writing queries, views, and triggers.
  • Familiarity with SEO tools, digital analytics platforms, and Google Analytics.
Professional Skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong copywriting and proofreading abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline‑driven environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience in the credit union or financial services industry is a plus.
  • Commitment to maintaining data integrity and confidentiality.
