Automated Fraud Alerts

In our commitment to safeguarding your financial security, Aerospace Federal Credit Union has upgraded our fraud alert system for Platinum Visa Credit Cards. Fraud Alerts help protect you from potential fraud by immediately sending an email and text message when we detect suspicious activity on your Credit Card. If there is not an email address or mobile phone number on file, an interactive digital phone call will be made.

Ways AFCU will alert you:

Email: When suspicious activity is detected, you ‘ll receive an interactive fraud alert email from no-reply@fraud.pscu.com. The email will contain our logo and a subject line of Aerospace Federal Credit Union Credit Union Fraud Alert with a Fraud Case Number. The email will ask you to click a green button if the transaction is authorized and a red button if it is not.

Text: Along with the email, an SMS text will also be generated. The text message is free for cardholders and will say AerospaceCU Fraud Alert from short code "49447". You can save it as a contact in your mobile phone. The text is interactive and will ask you to reply Y (yes) or N (no) to verify if you made the transaction.

Phone Call: If you are unable to respond to the email or SMS text, you will receive an interactive digital phone call. If the phone call is not answered, you will receive a digital voicemail, prompting you to call back at a specific phone number.

Aerospace Federal Credit Union will never initiate a phone call, email, or text message asking you for confidential information. Do not respond to any request for confidential information such as account numbers, passwords, or PIN and contact AFCU immediately at 800-795-2325.

To take advantage of Automated Fraud Alerts, make sure your current email and phone number is on your AFCU account. You can add it by visiting the branch or calling us at 800-795-2325.
